Felt Animal Garlands!

I work in Hobbycraft, and for easter we were all asked to make a product for the store! I decided to make a cute felt bunny and chick garland, and loved the results!

After making this, I decided to make more, and made a second one for the Vet practice that my sister works in!

I would love to take orders to make more, of anything you want. I can do other animals, names, or combinations of these, in any colours, across a long or short length of ribbon. I could also do individual hanging animals at a very reasonable price. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are at all interested and I can see what I can do for you :)

Learning to crochet!

For the past few weeks I have been learning how to crochet, as it has always been a skill that I wanted to learn.

This was the result; Derek the Bunny. I thoroughly enjoyed learning to crochet and it was surprisingly easy to pick up and follow patterns. I can't wait to try out some other ideas! It's safe to say I'm addicted!

Check out my Pinterest for links to interesting and cute crochet projects.

Clockwork Radio EP artwork!

For the past few weeks I have been involved with my first live brief for Clockwork Radio (http://clockworkradio.co.uk/web/). The brief was "What keeps us together" so I started to think abstractly about how I could represent this. I was also given the colours red, white and blue, which I have never used together before, so it was a good change to force myself to try and use these.

The three designs above are my favourite because I think the colour worked together well, and I think they're most effective overall.

I have enjoyed playing around with the colours, and liked the challenge of a live brief: fingers crossed, they will want to use one for their Album artwork!

My Handmade Cards.

I love making cards for people, I think its a very personal gift and here are some examples of the cards I have made recently and in the past.

This card is for my close friend Paige, who loves seahorses. It is made up of a collage with embellishment on top.

Paper cutout
My Little Sisters birthday card.

These are some cards I made a few years ago using handmade stamps and I like their simplicity.

I will happily make cards for anyone as a request, if you just email me and let me know: jenna.ls@hotmail.co.uk

Spice.Chilli.Pepper

This framed piece is done using fineliner on a watercolour wash background. I am very happy with the way its turned out, but it currently doesn't have a home :( Let me know if you are interested in buying it  by commenting :)

R.I.P Robin!

This piece was created in memory of our familys favourite Robin, who choked to death on some bird seed on our patio.
